  Songs of Freedom

I've lived behind the Iron Curtain. The Curtain was inoperable. A permanent fixture in a Theater of Western Civilization in the late XX century. Apparently it was there to divide the Western Civilization from Eastern Civilization where Western Civilization played the part of the audience comfortably expressing their opinions about what was going on behind the curtain. These opinions were expressed by Graffiti on the Western side. The Eastern side was painted with Blood.

When Iron Curtain fell allowing the stage players to leave - it fell on the side painted with blood. Graffiti won.

There are times I think of all those whose blood was sprayed on the curtain as they were slayed on the stage, invislble actors in murderous play. But Graffiti won.

It has been now 17 years since Chris Gueffroy was killed at the Berlin Wall. Hi Chris. Every year Februrary is a horrible time for me. I cry for my innocence. I cry for my dreams. Chris was shot at The Wall as he tried to cross into Freedom. It will forever be my February. It will forever be.... This song of Freedom... After 17 years I know that graffiti won. Blood is thinner than graffitti.

"Home, home where I wanted to go. Home, Home where I wanted to go. Home. Home. Where I wanted to go" is this Coldplay's song...

Every year I think of Chris. I remember that day when he was shot. It altered my life for ever. Fuck. Why? I don't fucking want it. Why do I have to remember this shitty day in February of 1989? Why? Just because we were the same age? just because we wanted Freedom? Fuck~Fuck all your blogging, audiobloggig, vblogging, podcasting or whatever you do in the name of getting your dick hard! I just dont want to cry any more in February! These songs of freedom. Songs of freedom
