Modus Ponens Americanus

DRAFT: If democracy is the best system of government, then everyone should be
like America.
Version1: if democracy is the best system of government, then America should make them to be like America
FINAL 1: if democracy is the best system of government, then American government is the best government ever.
Modus Ponens Kombinatus! DRAFT: if human beings are human beings, then what the fuck went wrong?
(yes, some of you may say this last sentence has nothing to do with Modus Ponens)

What we need here is a special syllogism that explains how things went wrong.

In most cases, democratic decision making leads to something everyone can live with.

In most cases, democratic decision making makes for greater legitimacy.

In most cases, the good of that will be apparent to most people.

If they can't see that, then they need to be kidnapped by CIA enema commandos, tortured and bullied into signing agreements that give away every scrap of sovereignty that might lead to democratic decision making.

No! Wait! That's not what I was trying to say.

K!, what have you done to your site? For the last two days, some javascript on it locks up my browser.

I turned on the image word verfication for comments. If the spammers bypass this I will probably turn off all comments. Thanks for commenting but if I have to delete 5 spam comments a day (ok, so 3 at the most) then I will just nuke this fucking site. We'll see. Maybe blogger is experimenting with some javascript. I use Safari on a Mac Tiger.

I think it was the Blogrolling service. Doesn't matter though. I just turn off javascript before I visit.
