  Rich Dad Poor Dad Archeology
John T. Reed's analysis of Robert T. Kiyosaki's book Rich Dad, Poor Dad:
The most common favorable comment I get about Kiyosaki from those who generally agree with my analysis is that “He got me to think about my finances.” That’s pretty lame.

The IRS makes you think about your finances every April 15th. You have to think about your finances whenever you fill out a loan or credit-card application."
Still Digging...however archeological findings show that there never was a 'Rich Dad' person and Kiyosaki made up the whole thing. - well, good for him I say, good for him.

I think the S. Orman woman, a fabulous financial guru to the white trash dwellers of all ages has learned a lot from Kiyosaki but I would imagine he has a lot more style. She, on the other hand, makes me feel like an Idiot. (I think there is something to it though).

Comments:
It's her style .. Americans have been trained to swallow

Jon, please - you make more more depressed than is necessary. - The trend of guruism in America continues. It's quite amazing to me that out of so many Princes and Princesses of FInance in America they had to put such a fucking annoying Frog on TV. - and I would be careful to kiss that Frog, she's bound to shit stupidity on you.

John T. Reed is master in the dungeon of the Contrarian. Setting himself up as a leader for the small fry (would you like to supersize that?) he rants and raves against the gurus. Though odd as he is a guru in his own kingdom of prisoners.

Nice article on the real deal about kiyosan.

The above is Kiyosaki's response to John T Reed.

Interesting to note that on the Richdad/Poordad discussion boards this subject gets brought up often and those that post doubt in there being a richdad get laughed off the board. Not because it is true or untrue. Only because it is irrelevant.

Kinda like I don't have to believe in Jesus to be nice to my neighbor.

Now, shall we move on to CNBC's show Mad Money by Jim Cramer?

Mayosan Master, thanks for links. What I like about Kiyosaki is that he makes you think through the way finances work in a simple way. Perhaps too simple for the complex minds. - And even if there were no real Rich Dad it would be quite irrelevant as you say - maybe that's why I say "good for him". - Now I am waiting for Kyiosaki to write a real bestseller; about the fact that there is no such a thing as "Money" and "Wealth" and it's all made up - I would buy that book for everyone on my xmas list. - and I love Cramer, he is one Smart Mad Money Man.

Back to Ownership Society. As we were.

Kiyosaki is a smart man. It's because of him, I decided to stop being an E, and an S... I can say with honesty, I've built myself a growing B!!!

So wether Rich Dad exsists or not.. who cares? The story of the Bible has inspired many people to live good ethical lives, who cares if its true?
